TOOL

TOOL, a School of Arts, Crafts and Citizenship, is an inclusive and free space-workshop dedicated to the art and craft techniques of printing, where practices and theories will revolve around the book as a creative synthesis between word and image, between stories and narratives, between manual skills and technical skills. TOOL is, in fact, a tool, an educational tool aimed at young people and children from the Roman suburbs, of different cultures and backgrounds, often at risk of dropping out of school. A place where, through “work-play”, cooperative and manual action, children and adolescents can recognize themselves as effective members within their living environment: school, society, family. A place where they can live and experience a positive socialization that promotes personal development, professional skills, civic coexistence, intergenerational solidarity and inclusion of the most vulnerable, thus helping to build the foundations of citizenship in the new generations.
