Xhulja Liçaj aka Lurida Laida
Xhulja Liçaj, aka Lurida Laida, was born in 1994 in Vlora, Albania. As a young girl she moved to Italy. Here she attended the Venice Academy of Fine Arts, where she explored contemporary art through site-specific installations. She has taken part in several group exhibitions. She is currently completing a two-year course in comics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, where she lives.She is a member of the C.RUDE collective, a transfeminist comics collective, with which she has produced two anthological fanzines. She has collaborated with various collectives and magazines, including Profondissima Press on the volume Tölt (2023).
