Serena Schinaia
Born in Taranto, she lives and works in Rome. She studied in Bologna, first Aesthetic Philosophy, then Illustration and Comic Languages. Her drawings have appeared in several national and international anthologies and she has exhibited her stories at major Italian comics festivals such as Bilbolbul and Napoli Comicon. She has collaborated with Lo Straniero, Hamelin, the Goethe Institut, the Real Academia de España en Roma, and international independent publishing houses such as Kuš!, Stripburger, Komikaze, and Ediciones Valientes. She uses illustration, comics, and graphics in her work, developing projects that range between installation, performance, and editorial product. She loves music but does not disdain silence.
