The creative process, whether involved in defining one’s artistic background, or at the center in a participatory project, or a pedagogical tool for self-development, is at the heart of this edition’s workshops and teaching laboratories.

Dreams, surreal comics and dogs
Complete stories or single pages of comics, moodboards, storyboards, rough sketches or detailed drawings: any solution for visual storytelling is allowed, in this workshop that stimulates the ability to tell a story with images.

The mind
We start with details of existing drawings on which each participant develops an image in entirely personal ways. The results are collectively compared to create, then, individual narratives.

Fuori registro
Two sessions of 6 hours each, with the goal of producing a collective illustrated book, printed and bound by the participants, who are given the opportunity to approach the screen printing technique and narrative strategies of the illustrated album and comic book.

Che typo sei?
Workshop on artisanal printing techniques with the use of a letterpress puller and manual inking. The aim is to compose a very personal representation of the Baba Jaga, using fonts, colours and creative freedom.

Raccontare con i timbri
A modelling workshop for printing and making a fanzine. Participants are stimulated in the creation of a personal comic strip story inspired by the Baba Jaga myth. They will draw with stamps made from various types of objects: newspapers, recycled and discarded objects, for a first approach to printing techniques.
