Igor Hofbauer
Croatian illustrator and cartoonist, posterist for Zagreb’s famous Klub Močvara, has established himself internationally with a style that mixes US underground comics, German expressionism and Russian constructivism. A constant in his research is the format of the billboard in which he encloses entire narratives, surreal visions that reflect on contemporary issues in a historical dimension, particularly exploitation, control and oppression.
