Croma

Claudia Romagnoli, aka Croma, is a street-artist, illustrator and occasional cartoonist. Whether painting on wall or drawing on paper, he speaks of women, animals, struggles, History and stories, memories and possible futures, nature and urban context, bicycles, travel, encounters and confrontations, listening and respect. It speaks of displacement and borderless places, of resistance and oppressed peoples, of struggling and homeless neighborhoods, of partisans of yesterday and today. Her Jepi Jora, published by Il Galeone, is a graphic novel in which she recounts the landing in Italy of a girl who arrived with the landing of the Vlora, the vessel symbolic of the historic Albanian migration wave to Italy in 1991.
